This is supported by the fact that more than<strong> 4,000 events <\/strong>have been held in ECoC and <strong>6,000 artists<\/strong> from more than <strong>50 countries <\/strong>have left their mark in Novi Sad. <strong>The first<\/strong> <a href=\"https:\/\/sala.rs\/sr-latn\"><strong>City Concert Hall<\/strong><\/a><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><strong>in the history of the city<\/strong>, where we listened to supreme music stars, but also timeless works of classical music, was opened during the <a href=\"https:\/\/visitdistrikt.rs\/2022\/11\/29\/novi-sad-evropska-prestonica-kulture\/\">historic title year<\/a>. It is the new City Concert Hall that will continue to be an exceptional space for concerts, i.e. the creative expression of artists who contribute to the city&#8217;s cultural offer and additionally raise the capacities of education and art. Let us get to know this important cultural institution.<\/p><h2>The City Concert Hall Connects Two Institutions<\/h2><p>The uniqueness of the space for concerts is that it is <strong>one of the few examples in Europe that combines two important institutions \u2013 the Music and Ballet School<\/strong>. The modern building of the <strong>City Concert Hall<\/strong> on <strong>Cara Lazara Boulevard <\/strong>is the long-awaited home for these two schools with a rich tradition, which nurtured generations of young talents. This specific Do\u010dek was held in an online format during the coronavirus pandemic, and the audience had the opportunity to listen via the Internet to the first-class violin virtuoso,<strong> Stefan Milenkovi\u0107<\/strong>, who performed at the City Concert Hall and one of the new cultural spaces in Novi Sad. The famous violinist is the artistic director of the City Concert Hall, and\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/visitdistrikt.rs\/2023\/01\/25\/stefan-milenkovic-dobitnik-februarske-nagrade\/\"><strong>this year&#8217;s winner of the February Award<\/strong><\/a>\u00a0 for all his creativity and contribution to the city of culture.<\/p><p>Milenkovi\u0107 points out that the first City Concert Hall is a place where, in addition to quality education, young artists will be given the opportunity to meet and perform with the great names of classical music.<\/p><blockquote><p>\u2018I believe that every concert venue should be a kind of mirror of the city in which it exists, and we always see something different that inspires us, something new in that reflection. The importance of the newly built attraction is also indicated by the fact that, in anticipation of the first school year, as many as 76 new pianos arrived, which was news that travelled not only the country and the region, but also the world.
