A young rapper Filip Arsenijevi\u0107, better known as Surreal, brings the unexpected fusion of trap and jazz to Do\u010dek 7529. Accompanied by jazz and performing with an innovative band, the concert of Surreal & Beyond in the Novi Sad Theatre will be broadcast online on the visitns.rs<\/a> on 13 January.<\/span><\/h4>\n

<\/p>\n

This will be the first time these six guys gather in this kind of line-up, and, as Surreal points out, they completely changed the concept of the performance by making an excellent mix of sounds and genres, a mix that people haven\u2019t had the opportunity to hear until now.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u2018We prepared 12 songs for this occasion. Some of them are songs from the new album called \u2018Everyone at Home,\u2019 but the audience will have a chance to hear the good old songs too, such as Na minut od mora; Ho\u0107u s tobom da se smuvam; Budva, Kopaonik and more. This time, Ognjen on drums, Paja on trumpet, Sava on bass, Denis on guitar, Cope on keys and Surreal, will make a great atmosphere,\u2019<\/em> says Arsenijevi\u0107.<\/span><\/p>\n

In 2020, musicians didn\u2019t have many opportunities to perform, but they could still make music. Surreal released a new album that he symbolically named \u2018Everyone at Home.\u2019<\/span><\/p>\n

\u2018We were all under lockdown; hence, the name of the album. But, conceptually speaking, it has nothing to do with coronavirus, I didn\u2019t want that. The accent is on the new lifestyle that I\u2019m practicing now. I\u2019m oriented towards music and, through the songs, I spoke about my life in the past two years,\u2019<\/em> explains Surreal.<\/span><\/p>\n

The unique Do\u010dek in Novi Sad that connects two New Year Eves, two calendars and two time calculations, 31 December and 13 January, will be held in an online format for the first time ever. Do\u010dek will open new spaces for culture so that Serbian Athens could readily wait for the European Capital of Culture title<\/a>.<\/span><\/p>\n

In addition to Filip Arsenijevi\u0107, the famous violinist Stefan Milenkovi\u0107<\/strong> with Vasil Had\u017eimanov<\/strong> and the Camerata Academica<\/em> chamber orchestra, Elektri\u010dni Orgazam<\/em>, Bu\u010d Kesidi<\/em>, D\u017eezva & D\u017eezvica<\/em>, a young violinist Lana Zorjan<\/strong>, Novi Sad Brass Quintet, the sopran Vitkay-Kucsera \u00c1gota<\/strong>\u00a0with the pianist Jelena Simonovi\u0107 Kova\u010devi\u0107<\/strong>, the \u2018Sveti Stefan De\u010danski<\/em>\u2019 choir with the \u2018Orfelin<\/em>\u2019 string orchestra, will also perform on 13 January, while the youngest ones will have an opportunity to enjoy the opera for children by the \u2018Visoko C<\/em>\u2019 Association of Artists.<\/span><\/p>\n
