{"id":5826,"date":"2021-01-11T19:07:40","date_gmt":"2021-01-11T18:07:40","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/visitdistrikt.rs\/?p=5826"},"modified":"2021-01-11T19:07:40","modified_gmt":"2021-01-11T18:07:40","slug":"elektricni-orgazam-celebrates-its-birthday-within-the-docek-7529-concert","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/visitdistrikt.rs\/en\/2021\/01\/11\/elektricni-orgazam-celebrates-its-birthday-within-the-docek-7529-concert\/","title":{"rendered":"Elektri\u010dni Orgazam Celebrates Its Birthday Within the Do\u010dek 7529 Concert"},"content":{"rendered":"<h4>For members of the band \u2018Elektri\u010dni Orgazam\u2019, the concert within Do\u010dek 7529 will be special in many ways \u2013 not only will it be their first online concert, and in Novi Sad, a place where they\u2019ve made some beautiful memories, at that, but the band will celebrate their 41 st brithday that same day.<\/h4>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>One of the longest-living rock bands in the region will give a concert on 13 January, starting at 11 p.m. The concert will be broadcast online on the <a href=\"https:\/\/visitdistrikt.rs\/en\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">visitns.rs<\/a> platform. Elektri\u010dni Orgazam was formed on exactly that date in 1980, in the \u2018Mornar\u2019 (en. Sailor) tavern, for the needs of one gig \u2013 the performance of the group <em>Hipnotisano Pile<\/em> in the \u2018Belgrade SKC\u2019 (en. Student Cultural Centre), whose members basically opened the concert for themselves, i.e. Elektri\u010dni Orgazam, which was going to play afterwards. The audience reacted much better to the newly formed band, making it clear who was the one with the bright future ahead. The frontman and founder of the band, <strong>Sr\u0111an Gojkovi\u0107 Gile<\/strong>, says this jubilee is unexpected for the members of the band as well.<\/p>\n<p><em>\u2018No one planned this. When we formed this band, we actually thought we were going to do one gig only, we didn\u2019t start off with some great ambition. But now, when you look back, 41 years have passed, which is a seriously long period of time. We had ups and downs, both memorable and sad things have happened, a whole life happened. Within a lifespan of one human being, to play in the same rock&#8217;n&#8217;roll band, in this region, I myself don\u2019t know how we managed that, but we apparently did,\u2019<\/em> says Gile.<\/p>\n<p>A four-decade career was marked by numerous unforgettable shows. Gile believes nothing can replace the direct interaction with the audience, but he looks forward to this new experience \u2013 an online concert within Do\u010dek.<\/p>\n<p><em>\u2018We\u2019re doing this online thing for the first time ever, and that\u2019s always a challenge. So, on the one hand, it\u2019s fun when you\u2019re doing something you\u2019ve never done before. Of course, we long for gigs, since, for the reasons known to everyone, we only managed to organize two concerts last year, which is the first time something like that happened to us. Do\u010dek will open new spaces for culture so that Serbian Athens could readily wait for the <a href=\"https:\/\/novisad2021.rs\/en\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">European Capital of Culture<\/a> title. In addition to Elektri\u010dni Orgazam, the famous violinist <strong>Stefan Milenkovi\u0107<\/strong> with <strong>Vasil Had\u017eimanov<\/strong> and the <em>Camerata Academica<\/em> chamber orchestra, the bands <em>Bu\u010d Kesidi<\/em> and <em>D\u017eezva &amp; D\u017eezvica<\/em>, the rapper <strong>Surreal<\/strong>, a young violinist <strong>Lana Zorjan<\/strong>, Novi Sad Brass Quintet, the sopran <span><strong>Vitkay-Kucsera \u00c1gota<\/strong>\u00a0<\/span>with the pianist <strong>Jelena Simonovi\u0107 Kova\u010devi\u0107<\/strong>, <em>\u2018Sveti Stefan De\u010danski\u2019<\/em> choir with the \u2018<em>Orfelin<\/em>\u2019 string orchestra, will also perform on 13 January, while the youngest ones will have an opportunity to enjoy the opera for
