PHOTO/VIDEO: The Darkest Wave in the District!

The seventh Kaleidoscope of Culture in Novi Sad ended with Visual Arts Week, which turned the Novi Sad District into the centre of the Yugoslav Black Wave. The final week of one of the most significant art gatherings in this part of Europe was dedicated to the most awarded and, at the same time, most banned films and directors of this period of local cinematography. The exhibition ‘The Darkest Wave,’ by Monika Bilbija Ponjavić, PhD, was also presented to visitors, with a tour led by artist Uroš Đurić.

You can see the exhibition until 19 October, on weekdays from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. and on weekends from 4 p.m. to 11 p.m. Don’t miss the guided tour with Uroš Đurić on 12 October at 7 p.m.

Let’s take a look how the final week of the Kaleidoscope of Culture, dedicated to visual arts, looked like.
