From Konjović to Marina Abramović

For the first time, the collectors’ works of the greatest authors of Serbian art were presented to the Novi Sad audience. The exhibition, created in cooperation with the Bel Art Gallery, presents the century-old history of Serbian art from 1923 to 2023. Experience the works by Milan Konjović, Sava Šumanović, Zora Petrović, Mića Popović, and others.

Spirit of Place – A Century of the District
Working Hours: permanent exhibition / from Wednesday until Sunday / from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. / District, Fabrika 2 facility
The permanent multimedia exhibition will present the turbulent hundred-year history of the former industrial complex, which today has become a centre of contemporary creativity.
‘Kitchens [Fragments] – Sketches from History and Popular Culture’
Working Hours: until 28 October / from Wednesday until Sunday / from noon until 2 p.m. and from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. / District, Menza facility
Discover how kitchens have evolved over time. The installation will show how social, economic and other factors have influenced the most important living space.

In addition to this, you can always see the District installation made of letters, by Jugoslav Sivić, which weighs as much as two tons, as well as the murals by Artez, Nataša Konjević and Pablo Astrain, which are a symbolic representation of the industrial development of the place.
