Faces of Novi Sad: Maja (25)

I started doing voluntary work right after I finished my studies. The year behind us has been difficult and full of challenges for medicine, so, as a young doctor, I thought it was my duty to help where help was needed the most. I’ve been in the covid ambulance since October, where more than two hundred people circulate every day. There have been stressful and difficult situations; however, I never wanted to do anything but this. I love when our patients and their families smile at their last check-ups and when I can go home feeling glad that we were able to help someone. I think Novi Sad is the most beautiful city since it has all these people who will smile instead of worrying in the times to come.
