As part of the Novi Sad – European Capital of Culture project, a call was held for the
conceptual design of the Memorial Centre, in memory of the pogrom of Serbs, Jews and
Roma that took place in 1942 in the immediate vicinity of the District, which architecturally
evokes one of the most terrible events in the history of the city and corresponds with the idea
of ​​contemporary creativity that the District nurtures.
